Privacy policy

DRUGSTORE ONLINE operates drugstoreonline.me to provide beauty, skincare, haircare, and parapharmacy products to customers in Lebanon. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

·        Contact information: name, email address, phone number

·        Delivery information: address, city, and area

·        Order information: products purchased, order history, and returns

·        Account information: username and preferences (if you create an account)

·        Communications: messages you send to customer support

·        Automatically collected data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and cookie data

Because we currently operate on a Cash on Delivery basis, we do not collect or store card or bank details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process and deliver orders, communicate order updates, provide customer support, improve our website and services, prevent fraud, and — only with your consent — send promotional messages. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to operate our business: with delivery partners (to deliver your order), service providers (hosting, analytics, customer support), and where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember your cart and preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising (including Google and Meta). You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.

5. Data Security

Our website uses SSL encryption, and our store is powered by Shopify, which is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. While we take appropriate measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil orders, provide support, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, and opt out of marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@drugstoreonline.me.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of majority, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed or stored outside Lebanon through Shopify and other service providers, with appropriate safeguards in place.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
